The Brampton Valley Way is a 14-mile rail trail built on the way from the former Northampton to Market Harborough Railway in Northamptonshire. Parking is free of charge in the Brampton Valley Way car parks at Boughton crossing, Brampton Halt, Spratton, Draughton crossing and Kelmarsh station.
Check their website for exact locations to park and downloadable maps. Follow Brampton Valley Way north to Market Harborough, or south to Boughton Crossing, where you can rest your weary legs by taking a ride on the old Northampton & Lamport Railway.
For the keen cyclists amongst you, we’d recommend checking out Sustrans’ 17 mile cycle route that takes in the Brampton Valley Way.
