Foxton Locks
Less than 10 miles, and just 18 minutes drive from camp, Foxton Locks is a great place to take a walk and check out all the beautiful canal boats. Foxton Locks has Britain’s longest set of staircase locks and dates back over 200 years. Head to Foxton Locks Top Lock Cottage, Gumley Road, Foxton, Leicestershire, LE16 7RA
Market Harborough Golf Club
Less than 4 miles, and just 6 mins drive from site, you’ll find the local golf club, which is now open for visitors.
Other locations for a walk nearby include the reservoirs at Welford, Thorpe Malsor and Sulby. All of these are less than 15 minutes’ drive away. To take in a bit more of the area’s history, stop by at Naseby Battlefield (five minutes’ drive).
