Zambian-Scottish singer and songwriter Namvula has been hailed “a true original” by the Guardian.
Her critically acclaimed debut album was a Sunday Times top 100 albums of the year (“contender for debut album of the year”), and was followed by the equally acclaimed Quiet Revolutions in 2017 (“a contemporary masterpiece”, Jazz FM).
Namvula is now working on her third release, supported by grants from the PRSF and Help Musicians.
As well as a touring musician, Namvula is a photographer, workshop leader and co-founding director of Film Africa.
